Marconi 4 Port Router Broadband Setup
STEP 1
In Internet explorer, clear the address bar totally and type 10.0.0.2, press [Enter]
A Login box should appear, prompting for username and password.
Username: admin
Password: administrator
STEP 2
Once you have typed in the username and password successfully, it will take you into the router homepage.
To configure the router, click on WAN under configuration and submit on PVC 0
STEP 3
You will now see a configuration page with 2 columns, Start at the top right hand side.
1 Virtual Circuit is ENABLED
2 Bridge is DISABLED
3 Encapsulation is PPPOE LLC (Second last option in the list)
4 VPI = 8
5 VCI = 35
Take a look on the right hand side.
1 SERVICE NAME should be set to Web Africa
2 USERNAME must be your username eg: phrooti@wadsl (all in lower case)
3 PASSWORD must be your password for the service
Once you have completed the above steps, press [Submit] , then [Save Configuration]
Another page should come up, where you need to click on [Save and Reboot]
Once that has been done successfully another window should come up saying Save and Reboot Successful
STEP 4
On your main router page, click on PPP under STATUS and then you will need to push EXECUTE next to Connect.
You will then see it will say , under the STATUS TAB CONNECTED
